MERLOT Mobile Search Apps

MERLOT knows more and more users are connected to their mobile device, as much if not more than their computer. That's why we have developed apps for Android, iOS and Blackberry devices. Below are descriptions and links to each app download.

MERLOT OER Search Apps for iOS and Android mobile devices
The free MERLOT OER Search App for iOS and Android-based mobile devices searches the MERLOT database for Open Educational materials.  An extension of MERLOT’s unique proprietary search and system access technologies, the MERLOT OER Search App enables mobile users to retrieve detailed, discipline-based information on thousands of Open Courses, Open Texts, and Open Journal articles directly from MERLOT’s internationally renowned digital library.  Retrieved information includes all the comments, ratings, related learning exercises, and peer review information stored in MERLOT’s digital library, with links directly to the learning materials in the hit list.  And you can easily share findings with your colleagues via your mobile device.

MERLOT Mobile Search for Blackberry Devices
MERLOT has partnered with Research In Motion (RIM), makers of BlackBerry® smartphones, to provide you with a convenient tool, MERLOT Mobile Search. Access MERLOT Mobile Search virtually anywhere you take your mobile phone. Go to http://mobile.merlot.org and enter your email address. We will send the link for MERLOT Mobile Search to your phone for you to download and install. Once installed, click on the icon to start using MERLOT Mobile Search on your device.
