It is not always clear to identify the authors email. When the author is known, and an email address is accessible, enter it in the email field. Sometimes a link to an email address can be found under a title like Contact Us or Give Feedback.
If you are unsure what the correct email address is, leave the field blank. It is not a required field. If an authors email is entered, they will be notified that their material has been submitted to MERLOT.
