Fairmont Hotel, San Jose, California
THANK YOU FOR A GREAT CONFERENCE! WE'LL HAVE MORE INFORMATION SOON.
This year, MERLOT is collaborating with the Sloan Consortium and MoodleMoot to present the "Emerging Technologies for Online Learning Symposium." This conference focuses on the technologies that drive online learning effectiveness, highlighting research, applications and best practices of important emerging technological tools. The sessions relate to instruction, networking, assessment, open educational resources, new media and support services. Experts, intermediate users and novices are welcome to participate in the conference activities that will include face-to-face and virtual components.
This cpnference is the venue for learning about shared content, peer reviews, learning objects, standards, and online communities by:
- Showcasing how authors and faculty use MERLOT learning materials in their classrooms
- Enabling discipline communities to share information on teaching and learning with web-based materials
- Identifying, using and evaluating digital learning materials in practical, hands-on workshops
- Promoting discussions among shared content providers
